Industrial silicone half mask 3M 7503 (L) for acids, ammonia, and chemicals

Thanks to soft and elastic silicone, this industrial respirator maintains its protective properties even under sudden temperature changes and extreme loads. When equipped with appropriate 3M™ bayonet filters (e.g., 6051, 6057, 6059), the mask becomes a powerful barrier against acid gases, ammonia, chemical vapors, and fine dust. For medium faces, the 7502 (M) model is available; for small ones, the 7501 (S).

The hypoallergenic material does not cause irritation, is durable in operation, and provides a tight yet soft fit to the face, reducing pressure on the nose bridge.

The unique exhalation valve minimizes breathing resistance and directs exhaled air downwards. This prevents moisture buildup inside the mask and eliminates fogging of safety glasses or shields.

The convenient headgear allows for easy removal of the mask, leaving it hanging on the chest during breaks without removing a helmet or protective shield.

The construction is resistant to aggressive environments, making it an ideal choice for the chemical, oil refining, and metallurgy industries.

The 3M 7503 (L) is the optimal choice for large-faced users in chemical, oil refining, and metallurgical plants. When equipped with 3M 6059 (ABEK1), it provides simultaneous protection against acid gases, ammonia, and organic vapors. Durable silicone withstands systematic contact with acidic and alkaline vapors without seal degradation.

Not suitable for small (S) and medium (M) faces: use 3M 7501 (S) or 3M 7502 (M). For dust threats without chemicals and infrequent wear, the large elastomer-based 3M 6300 (L) is more economical.

Both the 7503 (L) and 6300 (L) are size L with the same bayonet. The principal difference: 7503 is made of medical silicone with Drop-down and a Cool Flow™ valve. Silicone does not absorb sweat and does not degrade in chemically aggressive environments, maintaining seal resilience 1.5–2 times longer. For daily chemical use, the 7503 is economically superior.
