Silicone half mask 3M 7501 (S) for pesticides and aerosols, Drop-down

This silicone respirator mask serves as a universal base: depending on the chosen filters (e.g., 6051, 6057, 6059), it effectively protects against specific odors, fine aerosols, chemicals, and biological threats. The 7501 model is widely sought after in laboratory research, medicine, and when working with agrochemicals (pesticides) where reliable individual respiratory protection is required.

The facepiece made of high-quality silicone remains soft even in high heat or cold conditions, minimizing the risk of skin irritation.

The unique exhalation valve design directs airflow downwards, preventing the buildup of heat and moisture under the mask, and eliminates fogging of safety glasses or medical screens.

Allows the half mask to be easily removed and left hanging on the chest without removing other protective equipment (caps, glasses, headphones).

The bayonet mount is compatible with a wide range of 3M™ filters (e.g., 6051, 6057, 6059). This allows for assembling a chemical respirator or an FFP2/FFP3 antiviral mask for specific tasks. For medium faces, the 7502 (M) model is available; for large ones, the 7503 (L).

The 3M 7501 (S) is the choice for users with compact faces in regular application tasks: laboratories, medical facilities, agricultural work with pesticides. Silicone is resistant to industrial chemicals and maintains elasticity during prolonged contact with aggressive vapors. The Drop-down system allows for dropping the mask to the chest without disrupting the PPE set.

Not suitable for users with medium faces—3M 7502 (M) is optimal for them; for large faces—3M 7503 (L). For low-intensity wear (a few hours per week), the elastomer-based 3M 6100 (S) of the 6000 series is more economical.

The key difference from the 3M 6100 (S) is the silicone face seal: it's softer, more durable than the thermoplastic elastomer of the 6000 series, and fits better during prolonged wear. The 6000 series lacks the Drop-down system. The Cool Flow™ valve in the 7501 directs exhalation strictly downwards—eliminating fogging of medical visors and safety glasses.
