IntegraWay ExtraSafe coverall Type 4-6: taped seams, petrochemistry, 65 g/m²
IntegraWay ExtraSafe is a disposable protective coverall Type 4-6 made of laminated microporous polypropylene 65 g/m². Type 4 means protection against directional liquid splashes — a more airtight design compared to Type 5/6. Direct competitor to TECRON PRO: ExtraSafe is Type 4 (higher), but only GOST+TS without EN 14126 and EN 1073-2. The choice where Type 4 is necessary, but expanded EN-certificates, biological protection, and protection against liquids under pressure are not mandatory.

When to choose IntegraWay ExtraSafe
ExtraSafe is optimal when Type 4 is needed at an affordable price, and the regulation requires only GOST/TS without EN. Petrochemistry, pipeline maintenance, work with a risk of directional splashes.
When it is not suitable: if EN 14126 + Type 4 are needed — 3M 4565 or Lakeland MicroMax TS. No risk of directional splashes — TECRON PRO (best EN-package for Type 5/6, plus biohazard and radioactive dust protection). Type 3 — Chemi Pro or Tychem 2000C.
When to choose IntegraWay ExtraSafe
Choice for tasks where Type 5/6 is no longer enough for directional splashes, but a full Type 3 suit is overkill: industrial washing operations, work in zones with petroleum product and technical fluid splashes, spray coating. Type 4 confirms: the product withstands a jet of liquid under pressure without penetrating through the material.
When NOT to choose IntegraWay ExtraSafe
Not suitable for biological threats — no EN 14126. For biohazard protection, choose Lakeland MicroMax TS (heat-sealed seams, ISO 16604 Cl. 6) or TECRON PRO (PVC seams, EN 14126). When working with chemical jets under high pressure — TECRON Chemi Pro (Type 3B, TPU seams) or DuPont Tychem 2000C (Type 3B, pressure up to 2 bar).
How it differs from other models
ExtraSafe is the only Type 4 with taped seams in the catalog from a non-Lakeland brand at the price level of TECRON PRO. TECRON PRO is Type 5B-6B but only with PVC seams (not Type 4 heat-tape). 3M 4565 has Type 4B-6B and non-microporous material with a higher chemical barrier, but it is more expensive. The key difference of ExtraSafe is the Type 4 protection class at a Type 5 price point.
