Features and Benefits

Lakeland MicroMax TS medical protective suit — professional PPE for biological threats of the highest class. Biohazard coverall is used in infectious disease departments, laboratories, Ministry of Emergency Situations, nuclear industry.

Maximum biohazard protection — ISO 16604 Cl. 6 (max)

Coverall against biological factors: blood ISO 16604 Cl. 6, contaminated aerosols ISO 22611 Cl. 3, dry microbes ISO 22612 Cl. 3 — all maximum possible EN 14126 levels.

Heat-sealed seams

Unlike stitched seams — no needle holes. Absolute barrier against biological fluids through the seams.

Lakeland Super-B design

Three elements: optimal fit, durability, freedom of movement. Three-piece hood — best visibility.

Set-in sleeves

Perfect fit on the torso and maximum freedom of movement.

High moisture vapor transmission rate

Microporous material — comfort during long-term work with high requirements for airtightness.

When to choose Lakeland MicroMax TS

MicroMax TS is the only choice for real biological threats: infectious disease departments, virology, working with blood and biofluids. Medical protective suit with maximum classes.

When it is not needed: no biological threats — Lakeland NS (more affordable). For chemistry under pressure up to 2 bar — Tychem 2000C. For standard industrial tasks Type 5/6 — TECRON PRO.

When to choose Lakeland MicroMax TS

MicroMax TS is a specialized tool for work with maximum biological risk: infectious boxes and isolation wards, work with contaminated material class 3-4, Ministry of Emergency Situations emergency situations with biological contamination, nuclear industry (double protection: EN 14126 + EN 1073-2). Heat-sealed seams eliminate needle holes — the only design in which the seam is not a point of penetration for viruses and bacteria.

When NOT to choose Lakeland MicroMax TS

For painting and construction work — over-priced for the protection class. For such tasks, choose TECRON Classic Light or Ansell AlphaTec 1500 Plus. For chemical protection against jets under pressure — Tychem 2000C (Type 3B). If biohazard protection is needed without the maximum class and strict budget — TECRON PRO (EN 14126, PVC seams, more affordable).

How it differs from other models

MicroMax TS is the only model in the catalog with heat-sealed seams and ISO 16604 Cl. 6 (maximum class for blood and biofluids). Against TECRON PRO: TS excels in biohazard protection (ISO 16604 Cl. 6 vs EN 14126 without class specification), but TECRON PRO is more affordable. Against 3M 4565: 3M has a non-microporous material with a better chemical barrier but is inferior to MicroMax TS in biohazard protection (no ISO 16604 Cl. 6). Super-B design — set-in sleeves and hood without seams in the neck area.
