Base model of the Lakeland MicroMax series: same brand, same Type 5/6 level, but without ventilation insert (available in NS CoolSuit) and without top-class biohazard protection (available in MicroMax TS).

When it is not suitable: hot — NS CoolSuit (ventilation). Maximum biohazard protection is needed — MicroMax TS. Taped seam barrier is needed — TECRON PRO.
When to choose Lakeland MicroMax NS
Optimal for enterprises where individual hygienic packaging of each coverall is important: issuance to personnel without risk of cross-contamination. Water-repellent treatment is a sufficient barrier against petroleum products and weak solutions for general industrial tasks. EN 14126 + EN 1073-2 — double certification for nuclear and biologically sensitive productions.
When NOT to choose Lakeland MicroMax NS
Not suitable for work with intense chemical exposure: water-repellent treatment is inferior to a laminated barrier (TECRON PRO, MicroMax TS). For hot conditions, choose MicroMax NS CoolSuit (SafeGard insert). For directional splashes — IntegraWay ExtraSafe (Type 4) or 3M 4565 (Type 4B, non-microporous material).
How it differs from other models
MicroMax NS vs MicroMax TS: NS is water-repellent polypropylene (no lamination), TS is laminated microporous material with heat-sealed seams and ISO 16604 Cl. 6. NS is for general industry, TS is for biological risks. The main competitive advantage of NS is the individual airtight packaging of each product, which is not available for TECRON PRO and IntegraWay ExtraSafe.
