3M 4565 is a professional coverall by 3M, Type 4B-6B. Key feature: non-microporous material (polypropylene + laminated PE) — provides a higher chemical barrier compared to microporous analogs (Lakeland MicroMax TS, Ansell 2000). EN 14126, EN 1073-2, EN 1149-5. Three-panel hood specifically designed for 3M masks. Knitted cuffs (unlike elastic bands on others). Antistatic, low linting.

Features and Benefits

3M 4565 coverall — the choice for professionals working with 3M masks. Type 4/5/6, EN 14126, non-microporous material. Maximum chemical barrier in the Type 4 class.

Non-Microporous Material — Best Chemical Barrier

Unlike microporous analogs (MicroMax TS, Ansell 2000), 3M 4565's non-microporous material provides a higher barrier against chemicals. 3M coverall for working with chemical reagents.

EN 14126 — Biological Protection

Bio-protection, radiation protection (EN 1073-2), antistatic (EN 1149-5). Full set of EN-certificates for Type 4.

Knitted Cuffs

Knitted cuffs (unique in the catalog) — more comfortable fit on the wrists without a harsh elastic band.

Hood for 3M Masks

Three-panel hood specifically designed for 3M full-face masks and goggles — perfect seal.

Taped Seams, Antistatic, Linting

Taped seams, EN 1149-5 antistatic, very low lint shedding — for clean production.

When to choose 3M 4565

3M 4565 is optimal when 3M masks are used (best compatibility), Type 4 + EN 14126 + maximum chemical barrier are needed. Enterprise regulations require the 3M brand.

When it is not suitable: Type 3 is needed — DuPont Tychem 2000C. Maximum (breathable) bio-protection is needed — MicroMax TS. No bio-risks and brand is not important — IntegraWay ExtraSafe (cheaper).

Why choose 3M 4565

3M 4565 is the optimal choice for organizations using 3M respiratory protection (half masks, filters, gas masks): the hood design is developed for compatibility with 3M masks. Non-microporous material provides a higher chemical barrier than microporous analogs (MicroMax TS, Ansell 2000) at a similar density. Type 4B — protection against directional liquid splashes.

When NOT to choose 3M 4565

Non-microporous material means lower vapor permeability compared to microporous analogs: for long-term work in hot conditions, Lakeland NS CoolSuit or TECRON SMS Comfort are preferable. For chemical jets above Type 4 — DuPont Tychem 2000C (Type 3B, up to 2 bar). If RPE is not 3M — Tychem 2000C or TECRON Chemi Pro without attachment to a specific mask brand.

How it differs from other models

The only 3M brand coverall in the catalog with optimization for 3M masks. Non-microporous material (PP + laminated PE) vs microporous Lakeland MicroMax TS: non-microporous has a higher chemical barrier, microporous has better vapor permeability. Against TECRON Chemi Pro (Type 3B, TPU seams, 90 g/m²): Chemi Pro is a class higher (Type 3) and denser, while 3M 4565 is Type 4, optimal for integration into the 3M PPE ecosystem.
