When NOT to Choose
When aerosol concentrations exceed 12 OEL, the FFP2 class is insufficient—apply 3M 9332 (FFP3, up to 50 OEL). If protection against gases and vapors is required—use the reusable 3M 6200 (M) with gas cartridges. For medical applications without a valve—3M 8210.
Differences from 3M 8822
Both are FFP2 NR D with a valve, but the design is fundamentally different. 3M 8822 is cup-shaped: rigid shell, classic fit. 3M Aura 9322+ is three-panel (flat-fold): folds in a pocket, unfolds when worn, forms volume, and distributes pressure more evenly along the facial contour for any face type.
