When to Choose
The fleece balaclava is necessary when using construction helmets at temperatures below +5 °C: winter construction, rotational work in areas with harsh climates, night shifts in the off-season. Recommended as a pair with MSA V-Guard Red, MSA V-Guard Blue, MSA V-Guard White, or MSA V-Guard Yellow (−30 °C frost resistance) to create a complete head protection system at critically low temperatures.
When NOT to Choose
Do not use for work with open flames, arc welding, thermal cutting, or in areas with fire risk — the balaclava is not fireproof (does not comply with EN ISO 11612 or similar standards). Hot works require a balaclava made of certified flame-retardant material (Nomex, FR-cotton).
